Alton Village-This is the newest community in Burlington and comprised of 2 separate developments over the last 5 years. Typically you will find fairly large brick and stone homes on smaller lots.

Bronte Woods-This area is located at the very east end of Burlington between the QEW and Upper Middle Road. This area is mostly populated with high rise condos and townhomes or similar.

Orchard-Located between Dundas Street and Upper Middle Road. Mostly single family homes and gets its name from its history of being apple orchards for many years. There are many schools, great parks, and lots of modern shopping. A lot of families move to this area for their second home!

Millcroft-Fabulous community with many types of homes and price ranges that was built by Monarch Homes. Fashioned around an 18 hole championship golf course where many homes back onto the course. A very popular community that is always in demand with great access to all types of shopping.

Tansley- Located just south of Millcroft this area houses the Tansley woods development but is mainly comprised of retail malls and an extensive commercial/industrial area.

Palmer-The Palmer community is mostly comprised of small to medium sized homes in the 25-30 year range. This community is known for its safe neighbourhoods’ and is considered a prime area to raise families.

Headon Forest-A great neighbourhood of mostly single family homes on generous sized lots. The 407 toll highway crosses through Headon Forest and provides access to all other major routes.

Brant Hills-One of Burlington first family communities of more affordable housing, established about 40-50 years ago. Home of M.M. Robinson High School (ranking) and an area of some recent re-development as well.

Tyandaga-Considered one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods’ of Burlington and north of the QEW. Originally named after a local native Canadian community, this neighbourhood was home to one of two private and exclusive golf clubs but now owned by the City of Burlington, as the Tyandaga Municipal Golf Course. Upper Tyandaga is another newer upper scale community with some of the most beautiful properties in Burlington.
